The North East Premier League (NEPL) is pleased to present its sponsorship opportunities for Season 2014.
Having just begun its fourteenth season, the NEPL was founded in 1999 as part of the ECB’s drive to raise standards of recreational cricket, with the aim of having the best players, best umpires, best facilities and best standard of cricket.
The League now has 22 member clubs around the region, from Newcastle in the north to Stockton in the south. It expanded from 12 clubs during the winter of 2012-13.
The teams play from the end of April to the middle of September in a range of competitions – League, Cup and Twenty20. The League also runs successful junior competitions that take place each summer.
Our clubs also take part in National ECB competitions and in the last five years have won three National Knockout championships, one National Twenty20 – which is televised live on Sky Sports – and one ECB Indoor Six A Side title. Our League representative side have been national champions on two occasions.
The NEPL is arguably the most successful League in the ECB pyramid, and our teams have supplied players to the Northumberland and Durham county sides who have also enjoyed Championship success in recent seasons.
